“I found the information in this workshop was very interesting and I learned a lot about the different seaweed species in our region.  I never realized the multitude of uses for seaweed before going to this workshop, from how to eat and cook with it, to making beauty products with it.  I found this aspect of the workshop quite fascinating and surprising as well.  I had no idea of the 'power of seaweed'.  Before taking the workshop I did not know what 'seaweed cyanotype' even was, so it taught me something new.  I liked that the presenter is available to do in-school workshops for kids because I can't see myself doing this activity on my own, but I would be very much interested in doing it as an in-class field trip opportunity with a 'Big Buddy' class.”
