Meet Jessica Almonte
The Seaweed Homeopath was born from Jessica’s deep love of the ocean and her passion for creating meaningful, nature-focused health experiences. As a homeschooling mother of two, she draws daily nourishment, hormonal balance, and digestive support from seaweeds and their time-honoured healing traditions.
Jessica lives by the sea in Sooke, British Columbia, where she forages local seaweeds and treats patients at Intuitive Movement Clinic. Her work blends classical homeopathy, movement science, and sea-based therapeutics to support whole-person health.
She holds a Homeopathy & Health Sciences Diploma from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, and completed Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours). Additional training includes Seaweed Therapeutics through Wild Rose Herbal College, Advanced Exercise Prescription, and Exercise Is Medicine certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Jessica serves as Secretary of the British Columbia Association of Homeopaths and is a member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. She has presented on seaweed remedies at the Vancouver BCAH Conference and as a delegate at the 2025 International Seaweed Symposium on the therapeutic potential of seaweed in holistic health. She is also an Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine, where she writes a monthly column on health and wellness.
